This podcast considers the idea of developing commitment, how to challenge your loss of commitment and the rhythms & practices that are helpful in promoting or maintaining commitment. It also looks at how to avoid the derailers that can negatively impact our capacity to commit.
Stephanie Wilson is a Systemic Psychotherapist working in the NHS and private practice. Her early career spanned working in hospitals and in the community before she made the move into Mental Health Services.Her specialist interest is in emotional health and well being with a focus on how our early relationships shape our development as individuals.
Alongside working with individuals and families she is trained in Emotion Focussed Couple Therapy. Summing up her work she counts it a privilege to enable people to stop, reflect on their old stories, and through the process of therapy write new future oriented narratives.The capacity to remain hopeful is a key strand of her practice. Outside of work Stephanie is an active member of an inner city faith based community. She greatly values time with her family, reading and walking on the beautiful beaches of the North Coast of Ireland.
