Branding from the inside out

At the centre of your being you have the answer: you know who you are and you know what you want.
– Lao Tzu

As coaches, we are often asked to work with clients in helping them build their “Personal Brand”. For some, this means getting their elevator pitch right and knowing the “right way” to respond in certain situations. In TOWARD, we support our clients to work at a deep level when considering this area.  We encourage senior leaders to Lead from the Core; this helps a leader to show up authentically in different challenging situations and through this, build trust, engagement and ultimately performance with their peers, teams and customers.  For us, that is a strong brand.

To do this, a leader needs to hold a mirror up to themselves and ask the questions:
·     Who am I really?
·     What do I stand for or value?
·     What is my purpose as a leader?
·     How do I want others to experience me in this?

When a leader has clarity around those questions, they feel aligned and centred – this then allows them to live their “brand” in a way that fulfils them personally and excites and inspires those around them.

What’s your brand?

Be Yourself, Everyone Else is Already Taken.
